OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the workshop is to explore
opportunities for applying microsystems technology in three key DARPA investment areas:
photonics, MEMS, and microelectronics. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to explore
the potential for joint programs and to learn new ideas from industry and academia that will
enable the sponsoring federal agencies to fulfill their missions more effectively.
POTENTIAL TOPICS:
*Emerging Nanotechnology
*Flexible Emissive Display
*High Definition Systems
*MEMS-based Inertial Sensors & Systems
*MEMS-based Radio Frequency (RF)
*Microfabrication Processes & Materials
*Microfluidics
*Molecular Level Large Area Printing
*Optical MEMS Devices
*Photonic Analog to Digital Converter
*Photonic Wavelength and Spatial Signal Processing
*Radio-Frequency Lightwave Integrated Circuits
*Steered Agile Beams
*Three-Dimensional Imaging
ABSTRACTS:
Prospective speakers must submit UNCLASSIFIED abstracts of approximately 300 words.
Abstracts must include the title, author(s), complete return address, telephone number,
fax number, and e-mail address. Authors should state potential applications, if applicable,
and indicate which of the topic areas listed categorize their abstracts.
The abstracts must be received no later than
