Project Role: Lead Boeing Mentor

Professional Summary: Mr. Sowers is currently the Co-Team Leader of the Airlock Outfitting Integrated Product Team on the International Space Station program. In this role, he is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, qualification, and delivery of the Airlock Flight Article. His previous responsibilities have been as Lead Engineer and as design engineer with responsibilities for system and component level design and test. Mr. Sowers has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
