Professional Summary: Mr. Armstrong has thirteen years aerospace engineering experience as a hardware designer and test engineer. Currently, he is the Lead Test Conductor of the Hatch Integrated Product Team on the International Space Station (ISS) program. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of the Hatch qualification test program and flight unit acceptance testing. Previous responsibilities include Instrumentation Engineer during structural testing of the Node Module; and Lead engineer for the design, development,and manufacture of the ISS +4/-26 degree Celsius Refrigerator/Freezer Rack. Mr. Armstrong holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of West Florida. He has also published several technical papers on design and development of the Space Station Fire Detection System.
